Take a Break

This is so exciting for me! I like learning new things. So figuring out how to work my new website is gonna be soo much fun to me! Tell me something that you like to spend time learning in the comments!

Taking breaks is soo important!Click To Tweet

What I want to talk about today is taking breaks. Taking breaks is so so important. It will rejuvenate to be better than you were before!

I had to take a break from blogging.. I felt like I was getting a little bit lost with it all. I realized how important it was for me to have my very own website rather than having the free WordPress account. If I wanted to get my voice out there I was going to have to spend a little bit of my own money.

So now I have my very own platform where I can add all of the cool plugins I want! Woohoo!

You know you need to take a break when…

you feel lost. There is so much that I want to do with my life and in those moments it felt like I would never get anywhere. But then I remembered Gods promise for my life and it gave me encouragement to keep moving on! So what I did was take a couple days break from everything blogging!

twenty four hours in a day is not enough. *face palm* I often think this. But in reality we have more than enough time in a day. All we need to do is prioritize our time.

you are feeling unmotivated. Feeling lost made me less motivated to write new blog post.

What to do next…

Take it to God. God knows that you are tired. We tend to try and do things all by our self. God is simply waiting for us to ask for his help. He will guide us wherever it is that we are to go. All we have to do is sit down and open his word. Something we should all be doing everyday. I’m quite guilty of this one. Sometimes I can go days without opening my bible. Only reading the verse of the days that come from the bible app. God wants to spend time with us! We simply need to prioritize our time. God comes first. He should be at the center of our lives!

Write about it. Writing about how you feel is so important. If you don’t have anyone you can talk to that would understand how you are feeling, writing is the next best way. You have to get out your feelings in some way.

This is usually the best way for me, because I’ve always known writing to be powerful. Sidenote: Even though I know this to be true for myself, I don’t always do this. I usually end up blabbing to a friend, but it never seems like they understand. What makes it worse is that I overthink about everything and end up making a situation probably more than it needed to be. So one of my goals for this year is to take everything to God first and write it down.

Take a hike! Go walk somewhere! getting some air is always good. The air in our homes can become so stale. No one wants to breathe stale air. ew. But really being able to see a different scenery is good for your mind! Nature is the best kind of medicine!

If you don’t have a nice trail near you, you can always go to a shopping area. Shopping is great stress reliever and also good cardio haha.

Treat yo self! We’ve all heard this phrase before, haha. Is there something that you have wanted for a while and you just haven’t gotten it. Or something you have wanted to do and just haven done it? Take some time out for yourself and truly do whatever it is that your heart is desiring!

Don’t forget to tell me something in the comments that you enjoy learning about!!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Happy happy hump day!

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.  Exodus 20:8-10 New King James Version (NKJV)

Remember to have a day of rest, always!
